In other words, does Beauty ease the harshness of reality or does it highlight its terrible crudeness instead? The artist can create beauty out of his imagination. Art methods can be rational or not, it does not matter. Imagination helps the artist produce an alternative utopia to the reality so that he can keep his freedom.
An International Dance Festival
The Biennial is one of the most important dance festivals in the world. It will welcome a large selection of 60 international artists who will exhibit their art works in La Sucrière, the Fondation Bullukian, the Contemporary Art Museum and FASE factory from 15 September to 31 December 2011.
